I want and need money. But, there are limits to what I will do to get it. If I pursue money to the extent that I rob my family of time they need with me or I have to injure someone else to get it, I have allowed myself to be deceived! All that money can NEVER buy back what I will lose. My blindness will cause others to suffer and I will have to pay for my ignorance! It's too bad that many of our country's leaders don't know this.

We never know what we can achieve until we push ourselves to the point where it hurts. It is easy to say "I can't" or "it's too hard". I have discovered hidden abilities, answers to problems and great reward, after burning the midnight oil! We must teach our kids the value of hard work; then they can roast what they hunt.A

I have never seen such open and vocal vitriol as I see today in America. Hatred is a powerful, self-destructive force. It generally produces fighting and infects those who are stirred up by it. Love is an even more powerful force. Love disarms and confounds hatred! Love delivers a body blow that renders hatred helpless. The power to love when confronted with hate only comes from God. A "scoffer" is a person who hears the truth and ridicules or mocks it. It is foolhardy to attempt to reason with or correct such a person. Don't waste time with these people, they will try to hurt you and then laugh about it.! We must learn WHERE to sow; we have to learn to recognize GOOD GROUND! You can identify a wise man by the way he reacts to the truth!

DAILY WORD OF WISDOM. America just 'suffered' through the funerals of Aretha Franklin and John McCain. When I listen to people talk about these services, I hear very little about Aretha or John! I am hearing about
WHO did WHAT at these "events". It is sad that whenever TV cameras are on, the spirit of the event is lost to politics and scandal. The value of a funeral is that people are reminded that all men die and that their hearts are called to consider their own mortality. What is happening to America?.

"None of you shall approach anyone who is near of kin to him, to uncover his nakedness: I am the Lord. 7 The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness. 8 The nakedness of your father’s wife you shall not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness.

Lev 18:0  Today's Word of Wisdom is a bit different, so bear with me. We live in a day when wicked people are trying to "normalize" pedophilia.  In Leviticus 18, God labels various sexual acts, especially incest,  as wickedness and prohibits them.  It is interesting to note that these laws were given as Israel was about to enter the land of Canaan, which was filled with these wicked sexual practices and with child sacrifice. We are called today, to exemplify a higher standard of living which is achievable through Christ!  The attached video unveils when these practices started and why the Canaanites were cursed.
