On the first "Palm Sunday",  Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem riding on a young donkey.  Why did He do this?  The simple answer is that He was fulfilling the prophecy found in Zechariah 9:9-10.  This is confirmed by Matthew 21:4-6.  However, the question remains, Why donkeys?
