Some folks will "tongue-lash" you before they listen and consider what you have to say. It is folly to answer a matter before you hear it (Proverbs 18:13). God pours out favor on those who learn to control their speech. Life is better with favor. So, we have to practice listening carefully and being slow to speak (James 1:19).
