Proverbs 28:9 If you refuse to listen to God's word, your prayers will not be heard
There are many voices in the world. When most people hear the word of God, they recognize a difference. God’s word speaks to the human condition and seeks to lead mankind to a better life. When people decide NOT to listen to it, they unknowingly sabotage their own prayers. This is like a man forced to his rooftop by flood waters and refusing help from boats and helicopters while declaring, “I'm OK, God is going to save me”.
